Thank you Debra for your due diligence in vetting the perfect fit for Mickey. He has settled in as if he has always been here. You are such an angel for advocating the happiness of all involved. Mickey was the purr-fect addition to our family. We are totally in love with this guy and have begun competing to see who in the house can spoil him more. I also want to thank the family that loved him first. Thank you for helping to drive him halfway across the continent and into our hearts.

     Adorable Christian, who received record hits on our organization's Facebook site, was delivered to his new home by his caretaker just a couple of days after he was posted. His caretaker was so thrilled about this adoption, because it was close to where she lives and his new parents promised her that they will keep her posted on his integration and well being. Christian joined two 10-year old Male Sphynx boys (not related). His new human mom works from home, so there will be a readily available lap if he wants to sit on one. She loves her older Sphynx kitties but she was so thrilled to have a younger and more energetic version of this breed. We are sure they will all be amused and charmed by this little one of a kind character. Thanks, Rescue Me!

     What a dream come true to be able to help a kitty in my community in need. It seems that kittens always seem to find a place to call home, but not older cats. It was exciting to help a kitty that had lost it's human.

     Rescue Me was not only instrumental in helping me find my buddy, but when my circumstances changed and I was unable to care for him, Rescue Me provided an overwhelmingly positive response from all over the country. With the ability to contact all potential families and get to know their members and their home setups, I was able to find the perfect new home for Sundance, where he'll be loved, cuddled, and cared for the same way I always have. Even those who responded but ultimately weren't able to adopt Sundance were respectful, kind, and happy for my buddy. I couldn't have done this without Rescue Me.

     I signed up for email alerts to rescue a Sphynx and or a Cornish/Devon Rex within a seven state radius. I received an alert about Roz. Roz's mom called and we talked on the phone for about an hour, and I knew that I really wanted to meet Roz because she sounded like a perfect fit for my family. Upon meeting Roz, I knew I could give her the love and forever home she needed. I want everyone out there that is trying to adopt a special breed to know that it takes time and you should be very familiar with the breed you are wanting to rescue. I feel like too many cats are given up because the first owner doesn't realize how much work goes into them.

     A very special thank you to the applicant who adopted Mala. After a very difficult application review process, as there were so many interested in adopting, I made a decision to connect one applicant with Mala based on many sensitive criteria. Thank you everyone who applied or connected with me with interest in adopting her. To anyone who's in search of a Sphynx, don't give up. Many appear on Rescue Me!, and please always ALWAYS rescue!

     We had two cats prior to adopting via Rescue Me! One cat had become withdrawn and independent, the other had become more co-dependent and needy. We knew we needed to find a companion for the second cat. Our youngest daughter is extremely allergic to most animals, though not affected by our cats. We were hesitant to introduce large amounts of new dander, afraid of an asthmatic reaction. With some research, we decided a Sphynx cat could be a great fit for our needs. I always think rescuing is the way to go when getting a new pet, so I subscribed via Facebook to Rescue Me's Sphynx Rescue updates. As soon as Kiara was posted, I knew she would be the perfect fit for our family. She is the same age as our other cats and very easy-going. She has been here a week and a half and is getting along well with everyone. The co-dependent cat has found her companion and the independent cat is happier now that she is not being followed around. The kids are smitten with their snuggly new kitty friend. We could not imagine our lives without Kiara. She was the missing piece of this family. Thank you, Rescue Me!

     When I posted little Isabella's picture on Rescue Me!, I never dreamed I would get the results I got. Within twenty minutes of posting, I was receiving so many candidates for this Sphynx Cat, I actually had to turn off my iPad for the night. Within two days, I received over 40 inquiries. I narrowed down these calls to the best six candidates. It then took another full day to talk to each caller and get a deeper understanding of the personalities and stabilties they each offered. I have now chosen the perfect new Mommy for Isabella, and I feel confident that Bella will live a full and happy life. Obviously I am thrilled that Rescue Me 'Rescued Me.' I don't know how my search could have been so fulfilling without such an organization.

     Piper was adopted. We got a couple of dozen of requests for Piper. She just went to her new home today. Hopefully she will transition well with her new family. Thank you for your service. I love that it allows for breed specific and national searches. People were able to contact me and correspond through this site. It can be a difficult process when trying to find your pet a home. Thank you for eliminating some of the difficulty and providing this as a free service. If I ever had to list another pet for adoption, I would use this site.

     Thank you so much!!! I was so exhausted trying to find my cat a good home without having to board him or put him in a cage at some humane society.      Hi Jeff, All too often individuals purchase exotic animals or exotic breeds as pets for the novelty factor to impress friend and family, but once the honeymoon is over the novelty wears off it's a different matter all together. My wife and I have two Sphynx cat's namely Bella & Zuri and decided to rescue Torro, give him a good home were he can live the rest of his natural life with love and affection including companionship from his own breed.
