Rescue Me ID: 15-03-15-00076Spookitti (female)

Sphynx    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Not Good w/ Other Cats, Not Good w/ Dogs, Good w/ Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Low Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current, Fearful/Anxious

I originally rescued Spookitti from a breeder that was closing her business. As a kitten, Spooky was shy and a little anxious but developed a close relationship with my siamese cat. When he passed away she became very anxious and unhappy so i decided to get another sphynx in the hopes of providing her with a buddy. Well, that did not turn out as I anticipated. She never grew close to him and they continue to have issues with each other to this day. She spends her time under a blanket or fighting with him depute my relentless attempts to give her attention and space. I feel that I can no longer help her and that she deserves to be 'top ... If you can give her what she needs to be happy you would be doing her and I a great service. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 15-03-13-00243Henry (male)

Sphynx    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Hi all, My 4 year old Peterbald Sphynx, Henry, has a parasite called Tritrichomonas Foetus, which gives him chronic diarrhea. I have tried to rid him of several times using Ronidazole . The parasite seems to be resistant to Ronidazole, as it keeps coming back. My vet now says that he will likely carry it forever, and will pass it on to other cats. My partner and I are moving in together May 1st, and I am not able to bring Henry with me, as she has a Cornish Rex with IBD, and I don't want to risk passing the parasite on to her cat. There are no other adverse effects of the parasite, and it can't be passed on to humans. Henry is currently ... (Read More)in a very loving (temporary) foster home. His foster parents are not able to keep him long-term, so I am looking for a loving, understanding, forever home for Henry with no other cats. He is the most lovable, affectionate, happy boy and would be a great companion in a single cat household. Let me know if you or anyone you know can help out. (Less)
